On September 11th, 2001, 38 planes were diverted to the tiny town of Gander, Newfoundland — population 10,000 — and suddenly the town had to figure out how to house, feed, and care for nearly 7,000 stranded strangers. Come From Away is the true story of what happened in those five days, told through the voices of the passengers and the residents who welcomed them. It's a story about fear, kindness, and what people are capable of when they show up for each other. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will leave with your heart completely full.
